Energy Work
Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure® is a slow-paced acupressure style that deeply relaxes tension and transforms emotional patterns.
Shiatsu applies rhythmic pressure to acupressure points along the meridian pathways to stimulate energy flow.
Reiki is a Japanese technique that involves a “laying on of hands” to revitalize life force energy, reduce stress, and promote relaxation and healing.
CranioSacral Therapy releases restrictions in the craniosacral system, which surrounds the brain and spinal cord. This light-touch therapy improves the central nervous system, relieving stress and strengthening resistance to disease.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) stimulate specific meridian points by tapping with fingertips. Tapping releases and transforms emotional issues that arise from unbalanced energy meridians. Clients report that long-held emotional patterns can shift in hours or minutes. Since emotional stress can contribute to pain and physical ailments, EFT can quickly provide astonishing physical relief.
PROCESSING & SUPPORT
Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy is an experiential therapy based on the principles of Mindfulness, Non-violence, Unity, Organicity and Mind-Body Integration. Through this method we discover and explore unconscious core beliefs that might be limiting our potential in order to transform, heal, recover and embrace our expansive core selves.
Integrating insights from:
Lifespan Integration Therapy (LI), a new technique which promotes rapid healing in adults who experienced abuse and/or neglect during childhood by re-setting the neural system. LI is a very gentle approach that heals deeply and completely without re-traumatizing.

MASSAGE
Swedish Massage uses oil on the skin to facilitate smooth, gliding strokes over the body, as well as kneading, friction, stretching and (sometimes) tapping pressure to promote relaxation and ease specific muscle tension. Pressure can range from light to firm.
Deep Tissue Massage applies firm, sometimes intense pressure on specific deep tissue structures of the muscle and fascia or connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage to release chronic muscle tension or adhesions, commonly known as “knots.”
Myofascial Release is an effective technique that provides sustained pressure into myofascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
Sports Massage (for Injury and Performance), although designed for athletes, can be useful for anyone with chronic pain, injury or range-of-motion issues. It emphasizes prevention and healing of injuries to the muscles and tendons by stimulating circulation of blood and lymph and using trigger point therapy to break down adhesions and increase range of motion. Focus is on the problem area — a frozen shoulder or pulled hamstring, for instance — rather than a thorough full-body massage. Sports massages can be helpful for pre-event, post-event, restorative during training, and rehabilitative.
Functional (Indirect) Technique (FIT) is an empowering manual therapy which assists the tissues in finding their own way through restrictions, rather than forcefully moving the tissues through their restrictive barriers. Treatment involves subtle manual positioning of the area to initiate movement, followed by assisted movement through the restriction.
